Robophobia.......fear of drones! I had to look that one up!
Most phobias are real but irrational, and with help and time, and a commitment to try and do something about it, can be made less stressful.
Not admitting children and dogs to certain sites is probably more to do with insurance claims, the cost of making somewhere safe and let's face it, a mistrust that said children and dogs will be adequately supervised at all times. Sad, but true. The overall happiness of the many, dictated by the few who let the side down.

I am a Cynophilist but have been 'without' for more than a decade. I recognise that the majority of fellow cynophilists amongst us are decent, responsible, rule abiding and utterly nice people. Why should the club introduce a rule which would ban these folk visiting some club sites of which they are members of.
As before, let the CLs and ASs cater for their chosen 'guests',

It's all about choice isn't it? Choice is a good thing we're often told. Those with any sort of phobia may choose not to use a particular site. That is completely different to being forbidden from using a site. I think the vast majority of us who remain members accept that. Non members, of course, are free to do whatever suits them!

Nah Micky, organisations should be open to helping those less fortunate. An all embracing culture is what is needed, catering for those with various challenges.
What may be stopping that introduction is that a few customers are suffering from Chronophobia and want the world to remain fixed in the past.

One, you've just reminded me that we did use an AO CL last year and very good it was too. We also chose it for location, high on the hills above Clitheroe with walks direct from the site and views across the valley to Pendle Hill. But it was on a working farm and I could understand completely the owner's decision to go AO.

We don't have children/grandchildren or dogs. I don't seek out adult only sites. We'll go to any site, whether they are club sites, commercial sites, or CLs, if they're in the area we want to visit. I like to see the dogs on site. In fact I look out for certain dogs when their owners take them for a walk past our caravan. We tend to avoid the school holidays, except for the Easter and Whitsun bank holidays. At these times we expect the sites to be busy with a lot of families with children. It's nice to see children out in the fresh air enjoying themselves. What I don't like is the site being used as a skateboard and cycle track, with the children racing around screaming at each other, past our caravan for hours on end, and until late in the evening. That's not being unreasonable, or anti children. Everyone deserves the right to a bit of peace and quiet when on holiday.
