Le Havre to Le Paradis

Planning a trip to Camping Le Paradis (Saint-Leon-sur-Vezere) near Sarlat, with an overnight near Tours (approx half-way) towing our caravan.

To those of you with experience, would you say it's a reasonably easy distance to cover in 2 days - Google tells me its approx 200 miles each day - and do you have any tips for night-halts, or for journey preference eg via Limoges or via Angouleme? Looking to travel last 2 weeks in June to miss the crowds!

Your wealth of knowledge is, once more, greatly appreciated - tia

Overnight at Loches (two nights is better) then on to Chateauroux to pick up the A20 autoroute - which is toll free as far as Brive .

Yes, we did it from Dieppe for our first ever camping trip to France thirty-eight years ago - and that was with a six month old baby.  Absolutely no problems!   The same family are running the site - the sons now, with their elderly mum still taking an interest!

I'd suggest the same route at Eurotraveller.
