Site at Avranches

Hi all,

can anybody suggest a site near Avranches? Would like it to be near some ‘life’ if poss.

    if you want just a couple of days, there is an air right I the centre of town. we stopped there on our way back to Cherbourg and, although it's a steepish climb upto the town, it's a lovely place and we had the most wonderful meal there....smile

    enjoy.

    Thanks for the reply .. we shall be going into an aire after Avranches so really need a campsite for a few days but good to know that we have that option. Px.

    Camping Vallee de la Selune  is the nearest campsite to Avranches - about 4 miles south of the town, has British owners and is in a village with shops. Does that count as "life"?

    Yes that’s what I was getting at. Think I made it sound like I was was looking for several discos and a casino !! Have you been to that campsite?
