My local dealer..........
Possibly good news. The staff there are personable enough, but everything happens ever so slowly, especially on the service side of things.....
As an "Approved Workshop" they refused to service my current van, seemed they were too busy....
And repairs to a previous caravan, under warranty, took forever......
They are well located, lets hope this injects some new vigour into things.....

Used to be a really good company, so good in fact that we bought our first 3 caravans from them despite being the best part of 300 miles north of them in Perth. Started to go backwards probably 12 to 15 years ago as they grew too big and started to lose the personal touch.

Seven years ago I bought my caravan from them. The first year's service took 8 days!!! I booked it in well in advance thinking it was a days job, it was only when I actually was there with my van and asked if it was OK to collect it around five that evening, that I learned it was in for a few days at least, so they could fit it in!!
Just yesterday I requested a price for fitting a Fiamma awning. They came back to me with:
a. There was a 4 to 6 week wait for the parts, wrong, I could have them delivered in 3 days to my home.
b. Can't do the job anyway because Bailey will invalidate the warranty as you need to drill holes in the roof, wrong, Bailey supply the parts and the van is 7 years old (out of warrenty) and it already has four large holes in the roof, the skylights, plus one small one for the TV arial
Things might improve now.
I feel much better now.
