DD you are clearly against the club and it's sites. That is fine, you are perfectly entitled to your opinion and it is respected.
However do you realise that out of 152 post you have 12 negative posts? Some quite offensive - acts of vandalism....Why? we all get your opposition to the club yet you seem to want to post this so many times. Why? Pulling people's legs, just out of fun?
Now you are attacking the club's stance of keeping children all users safe? Really? The club says 5mph, that what it believes the safe speed should be, but now you want to argue the point of 5 v 10 mph? That one site operator says 5 and another 10? And implying that 10 is better because there has been no accidents, is that all you can muster over this? Is this a big issue to you? Is 5mph so terribly hard for you to follow?

Had a look at this site on Google Earth. It looks a good site, well laid out, and in an ideal situation to tour that area. No need to change anything at all. I'm surprised at the negativity shown by some on this forum about this interesting site. Well done the CMC for adding this lovely site to their network.

For people like me who won't be going away at the moment, a few local views near Bingham Grange. The coast road between Bridport and Weymouth with Portland Bill in the distance, the sub tropical gardens at nearby Abbotsbury and two views of Hive Beach, just east of Bridport.
Enjoy your Bank Holiday one and all.

Isn’t winter at the beginning of the year?🤔
The way I read it, there’s to be a review next year. That doesn’t necessarily mean there will be any changes.

perhaps CC will introduce a rebate scheme...?
cant say that a 10 amp supply would really cause any issues, especially now as we enjoy our 'summer'
haven't got a clue what the supply is at this site....ill have a look (tis 10amp) but we only need the fridge and the occasional travel kettle of water....

Well done the club on acquiring another site to increase the number of pitches available. For me, it will provide an alternative to Wood Farm AS on our trips along the south coast.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't, eh?

Yes, but not with children and not with an easy and deposit-free on line booking system with simple T&Cs, and no extras to pay for.
I have considered the site in the past but, as is the case with so many others, the faff of booking compared to the club, put me off.

That was until the silver hair crowd with dogs got there now expect lots of children, dogs and noise.

BB, speaking impartially-you often berate folk for talking about you in your absence, you are now doing the same thing. It lowers your currency☹️

I quite agree with your last sentence, DD, but I realise that I’m the one out of step with the majority when I choose to avoid children so I seek out a quiet CL or don’t go to popular places at school holiday times. It’s an indisputable fact that children are the future so I’m quite happy to take a back seat and let families enjoy the sites at those times.
One of the club’s strengths is that it treats members as equals - inclusivity - so it would be a great shame if members were barred from some sites due to having children or dogs, for example.

qRocky, you're absolutely right....
in my original post, I had a rider to CS saying that I realised I was, as you say, posting in the third person, having made the same comment myself, ...
However, I withdrew it as it came with a second clause suggesting that, if he was upset about it, I would repost it directly to him
although my post was to DD, about certain behaviour, I felt the addendum would have looked 'antagonistic' to the 'third person' when it wasn't intended to be.
however, if it's an issue, my offer still stands

I know I’m right, your issue was never with me👍🏻😊.
