    Funny old day today, bright sunshine one minute then a rain shower still I suppose it is Aprilwink

    Busy giving my little car the full valet, car now washed, T cut to get rid of some little scratches and polished to finish it off. Now onto the inside but having to take a break as we had a little shower so took advantage of it to have a cuppa and catch up on here.

    MillieH, hope you had a lovely time with your daughter.

    OH has hospital appointment tomorrow so depending on the outcome (fingers crossed) we should be able to get away for a few days to see how he gets on driving the MH. All being well then I can book that ferry, prices have gone up by £8 since I last looked so not too bad.

    Sun now out again so I suppose I had better get outside and finish off the inside.

    Heavy showers and then warm sunshine, have had a few minutes sitting outside with visiting dog alongside me on garden bench. Another neighbour leaves today, always something changing.

    My new chainsaw arrived just after lunch, so dodging the showers and trying to get this pile of timber cut into suitable size chunks.

    OH is not happy with the mess of sawdust on the driveway!!

    You should see the DIY mess in our home KJ and hear the noise. I have escaped to last years project, a room in the garden. laughing

    Well after re-decorating the lounge I’ve just been hanging another piece of Bob Dylan’s artwork which we have bought.They are coming to fit new carpet tomorrow morning 👍all ready for when Jo arrives back on Monday from the Philippines,

    Still dry and sunny here but have seen very black clouds further north

    ,C/van back in storage and part loaded again,

    There are additional parts to the servicing this year which includes a full "diagnostic"tests of the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms,a compleatly new check sheet  55 items also including if number plate is legalsurprised

    We have just had a couple of really HEAVY showers the sun's out again now and we have some beautifully shaped a fluffy clouds to watch - I should be shifting and thinking about preping dinner. 😉

    Just remembered ,when signing c/van back into storage, picked up a booklet that have not seen before,listing all the 2018 rallies for every centre who are part of the Northern Home Counties Region is this the same for all regions?, if so, and it is available, it could save a lot of "searching" when going on a tour,and handy to keep in car or c/van

    Thank you, Deleted User User. Sadly, the vociferous few that complain against me and hit the report button are the ones that seem to get listened to whilst others like yourself who are understanding and supportive get ignored.

    It was a really nice sunny morning, lovely walk with the dog,  also went to have a look at what the bull dozers were up to in the field, new access for the house builders undecided 

    Pegged washing outside,  but then had to dash out an hour later and bring it all in, we had some really heavy showers with thunder and lightning surprised

    Thanks Millie. I agree. This thread is a social chat thread. Sometimes it requires quite a bit of effort to keep it going on friendly terms and I'm sorry to see remarks that cause problems for those of us who just want to chat. Other threads are avaiable for other subjects. smile
