The Pointless Page

I found these days that even the slightest of inclines seems like a mountain.

Not that I'm aware of. It's irritating as I usually end up nodding off halfway through the News instead.

Here is something pointless about Pointless! Couple get through to final round and decided on Japan from the list of subjects. I suspect thinking it would be about the country but no. One of the questions was about the names of any Prime Ministers. Racking their brains for Japanese sounding names they gave their answers. Low and behold they managed to guess a correct name and it was pointless and they walked away with £3000!!!!

No , rf, you get a family of hedgehogs in !! they'll eat all the slugs they can get, then, after the end of "Slug Fest" you wrap the hogs in clay & bake 'em in a bonfire. The result would astound you honestly !! Just crack off the baked earth and the skin & prickles go with it to leave you with a small platefull of meat on the bone.
HONEST ITS TRUE !!

Hrump hedgehogs and eating of slugs.
We have our rescued hedgehog, Arbuthnott whether it's the rescued one or not 😉😉. I leave water, kitten food and hedgehog food out for him, including some in his summer den. What do I find in his saucer but slugs yes slugs - small grey ones and big pale ones helping themselves 😲😲😲.
Thank goodness for the frogs from the pond.
Incidently the hedgehog trust say slugs aren't a good food source, gives them ?worms? and mealworms deplete calcium from their bones. Still if my little fella or his mate, who know we have 2 😉, find the odd Mealworm overlooked by the birds or a slug or 50 you won't hear me complain 😃
Edit I did try without success to post this yesterday evening!

He was one of presenters of "How". I don't think we got that Southern programme up here, but you can buy the box set apparently! I bet it a very nice trip down memory lane. Sort of thing that might turn up on Talking Pictures channel. Been some very interesting short films on there, I think they are part of film archives.
Noticed thousands round Stonehenge today on news. Must have been a great sight this morning. We are being truly spoilt with the weather here at the moment, another warm and sunny day. So it's dog walking round a pretty reservoir close to us then a bit of a grocery top up for us.
Have a lovely day everyone!

It was fictional as you say R2B, the book was later published by somebod with an eye for a quick profit !!
P.S. I did like your tiny writing on the piccies, Mate -- nearly stopped my aged eyes from watering !!
TTDA, the programme 'How' / 'How 2' was certainly transmitted on ITV in the north-west region { Granada - land as it is known now } but was probably a Midlands programme originally -- without looking it up on Bling.

You might actually be right there David !! One of his earlier Programmes for Southern TV, Where for a while he was a member of the Board -- so a London boy made good .
Also my apologies to TTDA -- it was indeed a networked Southern TV programme which, sadly, ended when Southern T.V. disappeared in 1981
R2B, Some similarities in the piccy, mate, a long long time since I smoked a Falcon pipe tho, & never did wear a flat cap !! But for the rest ,, ,, ,, ,, ,, ,,
