And then on the other hand if you are on a club site you will need a mover🙂

I think everyone who goes on a club site should have a certificate of competence! Wayne and Judie are right!
Just how many of these couldn't care-less people tearing up the grass have even been trained to use a motor mover? They should at least be asked to pass a test!

and who is going to issue these certificates?

As there is currently no legislative body established for the issuing of "certificates of competence for the use of motor movers" this is an ideal opportunity for the club to demonstrate a responsible initiative!
For the payment of a small fee..... well, ok, its the CC..... a large fee, anyone without a certificate turning up on site could be asked to pass a test under warden supervision, using spare coned-off "mates only" pitches to demonstrate manoeuvring skills and only once competence is proven would a certificate be issued and they allowed on site!
Of course this only applies to towed caravans but then motorhomers are known for their responsible attitudes anyway

I'm just over reeling from the shock of seeing someone actually drive past the van at walking pace here at Cirencester Park!
I seem to remember another thread saying that this site, and it's smooth tarmac roads, is particularly prone to the boy racer brigade - well we use this site regularly and I can honestly say I've never known it so bad before. And yes, the warden did mention to me, and presumably others arriving on site, that the limit'so supposed to be 5mph!

Are you certain? you sure you haven't been having a few drinks over the afternoon? Alcohol and sunshine and all that?

Maybe they are checking their vehicles are still drivable after running the gauntlet of the access lane
It was the same when we were there in March, and as you say the Wardens were telling arrivals the speed limit on site,,but as we have been told on here by some who cannot control their vehicles how do you know if someone is "speeding?

Bigger humps should be installed and more frequent, will not bother me as I do not speed, slowly slowly over Humphrey no problem.

Just a thought, the speed limit is I believe 5mph, well you can go slower it is allowed you do not have to travel at the speed limit, oh mine will not go that slow bull s..t.

is it not the case that would be caravaners change to motorcaravans (vans with windows) because they are not capable of manouvering a towed caravan whilst attached to its tug!!!!!!some go the way of remote control movers and the rest go to vans with windows.
2 -
How can "would be caravaners" change to MHs or choose movers?
If they're "would be...", it means they aspire to be caravaners but aren’t caravaners. Therefore, it’s not possible for them to change or use movers because they have no caravans to either change or move.
You're trying to confuse again, DS.
PS. I'm glad to see you don’t perceive there’s an us and them situation.
