Mrs M has insisted I "give it a chance" before I start moaning about it! surprised

Oh dear, poor old Brucie must be spinning in his grave. It's just dire, and that's putting it politely.

OK darling, when can I start moaning? wink

Hmmmmm a bit dumbed down 😲. All those 'celebs' to be paid. Great courage by the contestants who seemed to enjoy themselves. Won' watch next week.

Did enjoy the Bollywood dancing, would live to see them on tour.

Painful watching, we lasted no more than 10 mins. Not to our taste. Dated, dire and dreadful, some I'm sure will absolutely love it..

Like  so  many  of  these  "Rejuvenated"  shows  --  even  a  bad  memory of  the  original  will  be  soooo  much  better  --  and  it  was frown

Like most re-hashed programmes The small bit of the G.Game I saw was absolute rubbish.   - A bit like the "new" Top Gear trying to be a carbon copy of the programme made popular by the Three Amigos ---and failing miserably.

I have to add that, from what I took in, the worst thing was the total lack of new ideas - I mean, sausage making, plate spinning, was there a potter's wheel ( was probably out walking the dogs when that was on), the scripted "drama" at the end - even the conveyor belt. All so dated, and are Mel & Sue really so desperate for work? undecided

Fortunately the beeb did redeem itself with the excellent first part of the Agatha Christie drama which followed.

Those dogs could be in for a longer Sunday evending walk in future though! wink

I was really looking forward to it and ended up being disappointed.  Not a patch on Brucie I am afraid.

There is only one more episode of the Generation Game moulesy.  I think either the BBC or Mel and Sue were wise enough to limit it so see how it went.

I watched the end bit, thought it might work with a few more sessions, have a feeling it might succeed even though the TV critics have said "no."

Then I watched the creepy Agatha Christie story and will be watching the next part too. wink

I didn't watch the Generation Game as, from the reports it was as awful as I imagined it would be. I did watch the Agatha Christie that followed and will no doubt continue. You can get so many interruptions of the same AC story although they all seem to reflect the life of the well heelled?
