Oversize Vehicles.

Why do some wardens allow oversize Motorhomes on site? We’re currently in a site with a supposed maximum outfit length of eight meters and a nine meter long motorhome has just arrived. Vehicles as large as this make it difficulty for other members to get around the site safely since its nose is sticking out across the access road.

I suppse we'll have to guess what an oversize vehicle is. A converted double decker bus on site?

The reason people can't see the original is that it is a pending thread which means it has to be given the green light by admin. This happens when the poster is new. The Moderators can see these posts but can't approve them. If mods reply to such a post the title becomes visible but seemingly not the post content which I suspect us mods were not aware of but we are now?

    Now we see you, Saxton!

You really need to speak to the warden as it’ll be down to his/her discretion and not something we can answer here.

By the way, have you actually measured this large unit?

Can't remember which site it was but somewhere on the web page for the site, or on the booking, or somewhere it does say the max length allowed and/or if you have a lager outfir to contact the warden before arrival. I have seen some pitches with cones on them  for such purposes. As TW says speak to the warden?

Chill out saxton. You have better things to do with your holiday than measure other members! cool

If it concerns you enough to ask for answers on here then post a piccy of the safety issue, I'll give my opinion then. But if you want an official answer then go see the Warden.
