    I have just joined

Seems a bit long winded. You need to enrol then download the book of the area you wish to visit. The sites are then listed but funnily not in any order whatsoever. So if you are looking for a particular site/sites you have just got to trawl through page after page. Fortunatly Google Chrome does a translation right up until you find a site. Click top open the site and it remains in Dutch.

As yet I have not been able to find the map that is avaialble on the App

Cracked it. Decided to re-register in Mrs WN's name and lo and behold the red dots showing campsites has appeared. The original registration and access that was in my name still doesn't show this! What a kerfuffle.

Just like Ina says I too have noticed that not all of the sites offer a discount for using this card so you have to check carefully. Better than nothing though.

Will delve into this further. Their costs may be cheaper.

I'm going to a site called Les Gorges du Chambon. east of Angouleme. ACSI €19 Best Deals €16, CMC £13.89 (which I think may be a misprint)

As Camping Cheque slowly dies on its feet, we are all looking for alternatives to save money. This year, after using my last Camping Cheques, I am planning to try Camping Key and possibly Best Deal.

Its worth checking that the offer listed for these cards, are valid and accurate before arriving eg.

Soleil Plage at Vitrac, accepts ACSi is 19 euros, whereas Camping Key card website says18 euros. As I plan visiting and dont have Acsi this year, I checked that they accept the Camping Key card before I arrive, as I dont fancy paying 'list price'.

Yes they do, but at 19 euros not 18 euros.

So its always better to check before arrival, that they accept the card, and at what price, than be disappointed on arrival.
