    I use my aquaroll and wastemaster in Europe exactly the same way as in the UK.  There are certainly waste water emptying points and taps for filling on the sites I have been on although they may not look the same as in the UK.  There are even full serviced pitches, but they are sometimes a bit more rough and ready on some sites!

    Depends which part of Europe you are going to. Seems like in Sweden the discharge of waste is a sensitive topic whereas in Southern Europe life is somewhat different. My experience is limited to hot climates where we have taken Caravan and Motorhome for 30 years.

    If you have aquaroll and Wastemaster you will immediately be recognised as English as nobody else uses them. Doesn’t mean it’s wrong of course.

    Grey water disposal is often a problem as there are usually no dedicated emptying points and the drains below taps are often partly blocked or very slow draining.

    Because of the hot climate, most people use the sanitary blocks for washing up so use very little water.

    Waste is usually an open bucket and you will struggle to see anybody actually emptying their buckets. If the water is “grey” and not overburdened with grease or food debris then disposal in the nearest hedge is the norm.

    If you have an onboard tank which many Dutch seem to have then just top it up with a suitable container. We used an aquaroll for many years as we had no onboard tank.

    Thank you everyone for your contributions. It is cominig down to what works for you. I already carry the kit for serviced pitches and the regular wastemaster and barrel. I will take a low or collapsible bucket, and think until I am more experienced that will do me.

    It is very interesting to get your thoughts on the way you do things over there.
