Please can anyone recommend a good campsite close to the terminal.

Our ferry docks at 6.15pm so as it may be after 7.30pm when we finally disembark we are not wanting to travel very far.

Thank you

Look at Cabo Major in Santander.  I have used it a couple of times and it is very convenient for the ferry.

If the boat is late (as ours was) they stayed open to allow us to get in.

IOHO The lighthouse nearby is worth a walk and Santander and especially Bilbao were worth a short visit - depends on what you want.

On return, we used Picos de Europa (http://www.picos-europa.com/) /Cangas de Onis which is very scenic and  a reasonable drive to the ferry on your last day.

    Other sites are available!

Each time I've arrived in Santander on a Saturday night it's taken almost an hour to unload, it's been dark and usually raining.   I've always headed for http://campingvirgendelmar.com/

From the dockside it's about 6miles away across town but easier if you go by the motorway.   For pictures and a review see my website at https://jondogoescaravanning.com/european-tours/
