Anyone got one?
I would really appreciate and advice on the product in the link below.
Truma have a super duper device to measure the amount of gas in your bottle. The trouble is I have a Gaslow system; the product details indicate that this would not work with me cylinder.
could someone have a look and share their thoughts?
Thanks in anticipation

well it got one review of 5/5!
Being somewhat cynical I would not place much reliance on that.
The only sure way to check your gas is to remove bottle, deduct tare weight and then compare result to a full bottle.
Perhaps a direct question to Truma might get you the answer you seek.

Got one of those with the caravan as a 'Show Offer' package.
It's sat in a drawer somewhere, never been used.
Surely with your Gaslow you have a good idea of your usage, hence going for it I assume, so what use is the gauge?
We use a Calorlite every two seasons. As it gets low, I take it out the locker and weigh it.
Maybe I should find the gauge and put it on eBay or similar. Or in the CAMC Classifieds.

I bought a similar pen some years ago when I had a Calor cylinder and it worked okay on that.
Then I changed to a couple of Gaslow cylinders and it worked about once every few times (when it felt like it) and it was so hit and miss it was put in a drawer and that's where it is now.
The pen in the picture shows green - but that was on one of its good days.
For over £80, whether it works or not, it seems a large outlay.

Have you space for a second bottle? £82 would be well on the way to buying another one?

I bought a similar ultrasound one, some time ago. Not the Truma one - another make but only about £20. I wasn't impressed and like K&M above, it's languishing in a drawer somewhere.

Sorry, I use the bp gaslight bottles and as they are translucent, you can just look and see exactly where the level is!

we are using such a truma-gauge. Sadly all over Europe we have different propane-systems so we can´t buy in other countries a new bottle, so we have to transport gas for the whole trip.
