Discounts on CCC sites

I have received an email from the ccc offering discounts of up to 30% on their club site pitches. Thought this may be of interest to some CC members who are also CCC members.

I saw this also but only for on line bookings . I sent this to someone who has their van in store . Sadly they can’t take advantage of it . Also only on selected sites .

I feel sometimes they have the offers but don’t want you to use them .

    Otherwise it’s very good .

Got to admit I didn't read it in full. Will look at it again when we start to use the caravan.

I had just had a look and the discounts are mainly for the busiest time of the year, June/August etc good value if you're wanting school holidays etc.

The prices quoted are for members, Chaddy. Non-members incur a £12 surcharge.

The other club, C&CC work an entirely different system.

I've been planning a week away early next month to Norfolk so thought I would look at the Sandringham site.

I think there is a comic at work because seven nights works out at £223.90 for the two of us in our caravan! This in early April.

So my money saving tip is to use the adjacent Caravan and Camping Club site and save £82.75.

My money saving tip is even better! We got a cottage up on North York Moors, eight nights, free wifi, Tesco delivery, for £240!

You might be into Easter peak weeks, dmiller, or HM is in residence!

I hope you moors cottage's heating system is as good as my caravan's. wink

There is an easter effect in the pitch fees I mentioned but it was the difference in prices that shocked me. Having seen both sites I cannot see why the extra cost the CMC is demanding is justified but perhaps it doesn't have to be.

Anyway it's the CCC site for me this time, in any case I think it a better site.

We've just come back from the CC site at Sandringham - were there in the snow! and I have to say that although not a great fan of this club's sites ( we prefer CLs and CS's), it was probably one of the nicest sites we have stayed on.  Although, admittedly, it was quiet, the pitches were large and it just had a nice atmosphere.  Being members of the C&CC as well, we had a look at their site - just out of interest - and it looked sad.  Trees were much more overgrown and intrusive and it just looked uncared for, although at that time of the year, I am probably being a little unfair. Yes, it would have been cheaper with our 'ACR' but I was pleased we had paid the extra and used this Club's site.

We're using the CAMC midweek discount  at Hillhead after the Easter break. Both clubs are offering more discounts, which is helpful.
