Lots of people including me every time.

There are pitches which you are able to use where you do not even have to unhitch. Toilets have been rebuilt I understand so that will get rid of a lot of complaints. You can walk to the town in about 10 mins for something to eat.

    The site is ideal

And us.   We use it every time we use the Caen ferry.

I think that a phone call to them 24 hours before arrival will set your mind at rest.

We’ve used it a couple of times in last few years. Very convenient and more than satisfactory.

Used this site for many years and it is much improved since becoming Riva Bela.  I can confirm that the toilet block makeover is complete and the swimming pool is finished.  Never booked outside of school holidays and no problem so far!  There is sometimes [often] a bit of a tailback of units coming off the late ferry.

Site also takes ACSI card at €17 which is a lot cheaper than CMC site vouchers. Or you can book on their website and ask for a Brittany Ferry deal which works out at €20 which is still cheaper than site night vouchers.

There end of August. Lot of "immigrants" in and around the area. However no problems, just a bit disconcerting?

We stopped at Bella Riva last September when in-bound through Ouistreham on the late arrival Brittany Ferries, and again homeward bound on the early morning departure. Agree with harryb the area in the south-east corner of the site allows pitching without unhitching. The downside is at 10pm in September it is dark and lighting is non existent, so finding the hook-up and water tap was problematic. For the first time I used the club's booking service to book the site, which had two advantages. Firstly, it was cheaper than the book price and secondly a site staff member came out from reception and pulled those that had pre-booked onto the site through the exit gate!

We have booked both ways with CMHC. £18.55 inc the local taxes (about 20 Euros). Acsi is 17+tax.

Advantage - they tell site that you will be arriving late, and departing early from ferry

Also, we are coming home 4th June (end of school hols in UK) and its also some French holiday/long w/e, so didn't want to arrive to find its full!
