Camping Key - Discount campsites from 11 euros
Camping Key has now got an excellent website listing sites where the 'card' or App can be used to give you a discount on standard site tariffs. Some sites are cheaper using Camping Key than with ACSI and some are more expensive but as the Camping Key can be purchased from the C&MC for only £7.50 (or comes free if you purchase Red Pennant) it's worth considering as well as ACSI. There are sites which accept Camping Key with are not part of ACSI (such as L'Ardechois at Vallon Pont d'Arc - admittedly it's still 30 euros in low season with Camping Key but that's still a saving of a considerable amount on their standard low-season prices.
Some sites are more expensive with Camping Key than with ACSI, and some are less expensive!

I think I must be missing something because although two of our favourite sites in Italy are listed it isn’t clear what the price for a “pitch” includes and also the dates are very restricted. It seems to be marketed mainly as an ID card like the old carnet and the ACSI ID Card.

Hitchglitch - unfortunately not all the sites listed offer a discount, but when they do it's quite clear what the rate is. Here's what it says about Camping Les Deux Vallees at Nant in the Aveyron:

France(And that's a site which is the same with Camping Key and ACSI but Saint Lambert in nearby Millau is 13 euros with ACSI and 11 euros with Camping Key!)
However, you have a point that it's not clear what's included. I hope it will be the same as most other 'discounts' in that it covers a pitch, two adults, car and caravan (or other 'outfit), awning, and electricity. I'll keep trying to find out. But I have discovered that if you click the 'Get the Card' then it takes you to the Caravan Club 'joining' page! It appears that you have to be a member to get the card! More later!

The old Camping Card used to get you a discount on a lot of Municipal campsites.

Looking at their web site it appears to offer a lot more than just site discounts. There is a list of offers which also includes ferry fares. What it doesn't tell you is how to go about getting these offers.
It's got to be worth looking into.

Although they have a lot of sites listed, if you look at actual websites for each campsite, I haven't found one so far that acknowledges that they accept it, whereas many do show an Acsi logo to show they accept that.
The Camping Key App isn't working for me, so I contacted Camping Key (Sweden), via the contact form on the website, and like the CAMC, I received an acknowledgement saying - we'll be in touch in due course,

I'm delaying the purchase of my CAMC Annual multi European cover until April this year so it extends into early 2019. I've not had it before, just relying on other means. But I can't see where the Caravan Key Card (CKE) is provided as part of the purchase. Am I missing something?
