Did anybody watch this?
I thought it was ok until the ending.
What was THAT all about? I see it's had harsh criticism, but what did others think?
I won't be tuning into series 2, if there is one. It was as bad as The Replacement, also screened by the Beeb. Seems the writers do a good job but can't think of a decent or sensible ending?

Couldn't seem to make its mind up whether it was a cop, sci-fi or spook series.

The ending was a bit disappointing, but its become the norm where pilot series are produced in the hope a second series and beyond is paid for by the investors. Thereby guaranteeing an audience for series 2
Requiem and Kiri ended in a similar fashion - both without mention of series 2 in the pipeline.
Personally I like an epilogue.

See I've made the assumption that meant the world was going to end and therefore no need for a 2nd series. A bit like McMafia.

catherinef, the apocalypse certainly occured for me with Hard Sun and it's ridiculous ending!
McMafia on the other hand.......well perhaps a new thread required? Well acted series, good plot, good current storyline, definitely left open for another series (Alex Godman now a drugs barron) James Norton good - but no Bond???

Another series could preclude playing Bond.
