I have just endured 15 minutes of this: I quite like David Jason so thought I would give it a go. OMG still as gut wrenchingly awful as it was all those years ago.

what say you? Love it or hate it?

It's amusing enough if you have nothing better to do. I wouldn't rush home to watch it but we did tonight as we were waiting for another programme to start at 8.00pm.

The original was IMHO brilliant, the cast and the writing, but this one is just OK.

Saw about two minutes of it while I hunted for the channel changer. I wasn't a great fan even for the original.

Load of tripe as far as I'm concerned - nothing like the old series.   Surpised David Jason agreed to put his name to this!

Think it's time to pull the shutters down and shut-up shop for good.

    Agree with Moonstone.

It's an OK (just) gap filler, but to me the producers are trying to rehash the same old ideas from Last of the Summer Wine, but failing. Gastric is no Compo.

The irritating audience 'laughter' must be the worst dubbing since the America 'comedies' of the 50s and 60s.

I loved the original series, still watch some repeats from time to time, but this series must be the retirement home for every character actor on TV in the last ten years.

    Woeful.

Agree loved the original but this version is not its league, shame really as I do like David Jason.

Awful program and so few good comedies these days IMHO.

Final edition of this series last night, oh dear, David Jason running around a hotel corridor just like a demented Mr Bean, time to kick this into touch methinks.
