just putting the final touches to our plans for our adventure to Spain starting in April. We are planning a stop over for a couple of weeks at Bonterra Park but reading several blogs there seems to be some conflicting info on how to access this park, have planned most of my routes using Archies POI's but i see on the CAMHC site it gives some directions and says not to follow sat nav we will be coming down from Zaragoza, 7.3 mtr caravan, can anybody elaborate on this, also some folks seem to have had some problems finding the municipal site in Zaragoza, using Alan Rogers POI's for this, will be coming down from Santander. Is there a service station near the Zaragoza site?, need not be caravan friendly as i can top up before leaving. tks

there is a service station before Zaragoza, at Sobradiel. I have used it several times when approaching Zaragoza with the caravan. As far finding the site it is basically A68 to A2 dir Madrid then Z40 to j33 onto Autovia Madrid  N11, its title is something like Avenida Hispanidad but you can soon check it on Google maps. Follow the N11 in towards Zaragoza, over the imperial canal then you go under an over bridge. There are some small signs for the campsite and you make a very sharp right turn after the over bridge up an incline and then on to a roundabout . at this point there are signs, follow the dual carriageway down passed the camp entrance, turn round at the r'about and return up the other side to the camp entrance on the right. but check it out in Google maps to be certain

Following on from finding the site, to carry on the Bonterra Park you back track to the Z40 and continue following it round Zaragoza to j29 where you can pick up the A23 heading for Valencia, leave it a j18 onto the N225 onto the A7 northbound turn off that at j283 back onto the N225 onto the AP7 / E15 then its j46 onto the N340 into Benecassim, through the town to Bonterra park. Again Google maps comes in useful to see the route and appropriate signs and turns.

    Hi

I'm not good with directions but Benicassim is easy to find just off the N340. The site is also easy to find and is well signposted. Access is good and booking in is painless. We've over wintered there before, there's a Mercadona supermarket just across the road and a Lidl 5 minutes further. It's 10 minutes to the beach with fantastic walking and cycling. There's an offroad cycle path to Oropesa one way or Castellon the other. One tip, try and get a gold type pitch on the left hand site of the site, less trees and a bit quieter. Good onsite restaurant as well. Benicassim is a fine town with a lot of life, has a big weekly market. We loved it there.

Junction 33 and 33A is quite complex but Don't worry about it. If you find yourself on the A2 heading for Madrid from junction 33 just pull into the Repsol garage about a mile from junction 33, refuel and when leaving the garage you can take the bridge over the A2 and head back towards Zaragosa passing under junction 33. And you come to road works and a round about which I think marks the end of the A2. It is shortly after this roundabout you want to be looking for the slip road to the site which is marked with a small sign.

Thank folks, lots of people moan and groan about this forum, and i have to say the software leaves something to be desired, but have gleaned lots of valuable information for our adventure to Spain which would have been difficult to gather if people on this forum had not been so willing to share their experiences thank you Rufs p.s. long may it continue.cool
