Where to park in Amsterdam

We are having a short break around the bulb fields in April and want to go to Amsterdam for the day. A few years ago we did this trip but cannot remember where we parked we think it was a park and ride any suggestions would be appreciated.  thank you

    Amsterdam is a nightmare to drive round. If you can find a spot outside and travel in then go for it.

    Put 'park and ride Amsterdam' into your browser (sorry no good at links) for info.  We've stayed at 2 different ones, both some years ago which were a short train ride away. One was suitable for cars the other for cars & motorhomes.  I seem to remember downloading a map of the various P&R.  Sorry my memory is vague re location but both had easy access to city and were easy to find (relatively!)
