It is well documented how VW tried to evade diesel emissions tests, their man Oliver Schmidt receiving a 7 year jail sentance in US, but now it appears they have been testing emissions on humans and monkeys too.
Wonder what else they have lied about?

I really can't understand how VW thought that using humans to test exhaust gas would not have negative PR?

I doubt VW are alone in putting out fake figures. Doesn't take much to either convince Joe Public all is well, or alternatively send them screaming off to Hybrid Valhalla!
