Site for the new year 2019

Yes I know it's a bit early - but I also know how quickly lovely sites get booked up! So ...... I don't know if such a site exists but does anyone's know of a site within 20/min walk of a pleasant town/city to spend New Year's Eve? I.e a bit of atmosphere and maybe fireworks.  It would also be good if it had an indoor swimming pool. Am I asking too much?

    Any lively city like Oxford, Cardiff or Bristol will have something happening over new year - all those three have campsites open and within walking distance of the city centre - and for swimming you can use the leisure centres in the town.

    Melrose has all your requirements (and more) but I fear you may already be too late to book a pitch. If not, then I can certainly recommend it

    Cirencester would be my recommendation, we are already booked for Christmas/New Year there.

    The town centre is within walking distance and there is a lovely swimming pool at the bottom of the hill.
