The group that AD is talking about is not the official CAMC page. It's been set up by a member.

The official CAMC FB site is a page. You just click to follow it. It's open to all

Ah, mystery solved! The club FB and Twitter links are at the end of this page for all to see. smile ( I don't belong to any of them.)

Correct 'Jayess', I have it in my saved folder of my Facebook page, free to view and free to post with no questions.

it depends if it's an official group set up by the hotel. The CAMC members group was set up by someone who was sick of the negativity and complaints. It's obviously not an official group. 56k followers isn't bad but the C&CC has nearly 80k and caravanners R us has nearly 70k members

Just looked at a well known hotel group with over 300,000 followers, all good if you've got the time and the inclination...wink

There's no time required for the followers though brue      All you do is click to follow and that's probably all the engagement that many have with a FB page. I follow a few businesses for offer codes but I never visit the page or read any posts.

It's slow. Slow compared with other websites, let alone forums. On the plus side, at some point in history, it will be famous. As a classic example of how not to set up a website for a multi million pound business!smile

I don't see it as a big problem, the main site is adequate in speed and admittedly the forum side of it is a tad slow. But I don't live life in the fast lane anymore and it's good to blink the eyes occasionally whilst in front of the screen cool Everything gets there eventually, just accept it as being in a traffic queue, a supermarket queue and lay back while enjoying the slower pace of life smile

Everyone these days want 'instant', and are aggrieved when its not, relax.

Have you contacted her directly rather than hoping for a chance sighting of this thread, KB?

You can always use the report button as a means of highlighting the issue to Rowena. I doubt she has time to read every thread or post on here so will rely on people bringing issues to her attention.

    Hi BillC,

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion. I will certainly forward this to the Digital/Web team as we want to look at ways we can improve members experience on the forum and website.

My scrolling wheel on my mouse has lost it tread, there seems today to be long white spaces between the posts in threads frown

You do of course need to obey the speed limit while on the site.😉Any over speed scrolling or swiping and it just can't keep up.😂
