CAMC Seasonal Pitch
Just been looking at the Seasonal pitch costs for Cirencester. They seem quite good value for money and I wondered if anyone had taken a Seasonal pitch on that site in particular and if so what were your thoughts on it?

You might want to check which pitches are allocated as seasonal, Catherine. From what we saw a few weeks ago they seemed to be the smaller HS pitches backing onto the college buildings and car park running down to the storage area. Cirencester is one of our favourite club sites but I wouldn't really want to be pitched over there - very gloomy and don't get a lot of sun, if my thinking is correct.

Moulsey how do I find that out in advance of making a decision?

Catherine. When we've been thinking of a seasonal pitch we've found the wardens are very helpful in telling us about the pitches etc. I believe you've mentioned that Cirencester is closed now so that's probably not much good to you. Maybe you could check at CAMC if there are any pitches still available or if there is a waiting list? Some sites are very popular.

Hiya Brue, yes it closed today until March. I'll see if I can find a phone number among all the booking documents. If you pay for a seasonal pitch with electric, is that all you have to pay or are there any other costs?

Hi and a happy new year to all.
FYI Prior to opening a site the warden will receive the dates and number of pitches required for seasonals. It is entirely up to the warden where the pitches for those seasonals are placed on site. Best to call the site if you're after a favourite spot!
Cheers

Hi again
The price you pay is for an electric pitch which includes the member on the seasonal booking and partner. Guests are welcome to stay and pay the per person rate as long as the lead member on the booking is present.
Hope this is of help
Cheers

Hi Micky
I believe the OP was referring to club site seasonals, the T's and C's for the club owned ones are the same accross our network

Hi All, yes I had a read of the terms and conditions last night

We have been a seasonal for a while now both on club and commercial sites the choice of pitch can be either first come first served on choice of pitch the early ones get the choice and are usually ones who have been on that particular site before and I have even seen a warden save a pitch until others have been taken (not a club site by the way)
However I have found that seasonals are a friendly lot and form a little community willing to help life seems a little slower not having to set up

Hi Catherine, I've forwarded this discussion to the site operations team to see if they can provide you with further information with regards to the location of the seasonal pitches.
