Second Pitch of Our Tour - Farnham

We are now in week two of our travelling lifestyle.  As yet we have not be too adventurous with our destinations, we do need to keep relatively close to home so that we have easy access to the storage unit that contains all our possessions.  Well almost all, because there is of course a load of stuff with us in the caravan. Already we are starting to jettison unneeded items and I am sure our load will be much lighter in another week or two.

Our second location is Coxbridge Farm CL, which is just on the outskirts of Farnham and only a short walk to the town centre.  It is perfect for us because we are only an hour away from our storage unit.  It also means that we can revisit locations we have not been to since we were courting thirty-five years ago.

One of the walks we did was a seven mile wander from Sheere Heath details of which you can find here.  This was a walk down memory lane after which we popped to a pub that we had not been to in well over thirty years.

Another walk that featured during our stay started at Frensham Little Pond and wandered across the surrounding health land for seven miles.  Details of that walk are here.

It was only a brief stay at Farnham, our next location is in Dorset.  The journey to which will take us close to our home, or where our home was before we let it out so that we could travel.

Our Two Dogs and an Awning blog contains details of over 450 walks from about 60 CLs. If you think there is a site we would enjoy visiting please let us know.

Thanks again. I also took a look at your Golant walk (Saints Way) as we have stayed on a CL in the past at the other end of this route near Padstow. smile
