Even allowing for the inaccurate attribution to EasyT using a serviced pitch, I find that quite a strange post, E.

Folk may book a serviced pitch for all sorts of reasons (we don't!), and if they're prepared to pay the extra it's completely up to them how they use it. No more a case of blocking the pitch than booking an awning pitch and then not putting an awning up.

You misread . I do not like being called fella in the derogatory way used by you, maybe you should stick to the point that you are booking fully serviced pitched when not needed, end of discussion

Maybe I was right first time as you are obviously misreading as I said clearly that I don't book service pitches but that sometimes I use them as they are simply part of the deal on some commercial sites.

It was you that started getting spiteful fella. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. kiss

We at times book a serviced pitch if on,for us, a site that also has a large amount of grass awning pitches as we can then normally be sure of a hardstanding, but would not connect to "services"

I’m afraid 'end of discussion' is not your call, E.

If a service pitch is paid for, it is clearly needed. It will be used in the way the occupier desires, even though this may not meet with your approval.

Would you rather have prohibitive rules in place with the Warden watching each service pitch user, or give the freedom of choice to a camper to use a service pitch to suit his/her own difficulties and/or requirements?

We do not mind paying the extra premium for our  "service" if we want, "hardstand" which will then leave those who "watch the pennies"  a cheaper awning pitchcool

a big plus one. What someone decides to do with their money is up to them. I wonder if our fellow member E has ever paid for something and not used it?

Strange this language thing. When I moved to Nottinghamshire in the 70's to work in the coal industry, I didn't much like being referred to as Youth. As I got older I started to quite like it.😂

Currently paying and not using service pitch and switched to standard set up, as all my pipes and hoses are frozen solid after -8 night,  is that acceptable.😉

I've been called flower, hen ,duck, love, cow etc .

    Certainly not insults!

Was going to make a comment on the "self raising" question , but decided against it , don't want to get a warning 😱
