also is there a big button on the side of the heater than says thermal cut out? This may have tripped (for example if you tried an used electrics with no water in it) and you simply have to push it back it. See you manual to see where it is.
Silly question but I assume you have checked the EHU and inside the main electric switches for heater and power are on?

No don't work on gas.

It's not got a digital panel for any code to appear.

however, faults can still be identified by a sequence of flashing light on the main body of the unit...ypu will have to remove the side cover panel.
here you will also find two fuses, check these too.
the list of error conditions are in this PDF, you need to identify the sequence of (8) flashes and this will be found on the list.
if ypu need to speak to truma, they will need the model of ypur unit and the error code sequence will also help with diagnosis.
failing that, if you cant get any air from your 'ducks' perhaps time to see a quack

Unless I am very much mistaken the Senator will have a Truma ultra heat system. This as far as I know does not have any error codes. I believe that the control board relays can burn out and might be the source of your problem. Again to the best of my knowledge the fan system is 12v and really is independent of the fire. You can run it with the fire of to circulate hot air.

- Thank you very much it was a blown fuse.

well done, its a common fault, the clue being it didnt work on gas either...as the heater requires the 12v dc to power the fan, even when using gas to power the boiler.
often, its just being brave enough to open a flap or check a fuse or press a reset button....and knowing where to look
thanks for posting back

Thanks once again for all your help. But just 1 think I did notice about the air from the ducks sorry vents lol was it was a lot warmer air in the toilet and bedroom compared to the living room???????

Is it a shorter run? Are the vent pipes/tubes, don't know proper name for them! fully connected? No splits? We had one that had come adrift a bit. I have also read on CT that sometimes pipes/tubes run outside so check and insulate.

as B2 suggests, a lot depends on the siting of the heater in relation to the van....
i dont know the layout of your van (where is the bedroom....at the back, lounge at the front?) but ideally, somewhere fairly central will give a good spread of heat.
a couple of tips...
if you have the CP Plus version (a square LCD panel) as opposed to the two 'knobs' (classic version) you can set the fan speed higher by using HIGH rather than ECO...
if you have the classic version, you cant do this and the fan speed is proportional to the amount of heat produced, so on 1800 watt electric, the fan wont be blowing very hard...
so, try changing the heat source setting to MIXED which is gas and electric...
the gas will kick in (takes a minute or two to fire up the gas burner) and add upto 2kw of extra heat and, as the van warms up, the amount of gas will fall away leaving the temp being maintained on electric only.
you will definitely notice the fan blowing harder on mixed mode and should get hot air at all the vents.
if this turns out not to be the case, youll need to check that all DUCTS are connected properly to the back of the Combi unit and that there arent any unnecessary loops/diversions/blockages in the pipework adding length or restricting airflow.
it may also be possible for you to 'rework' the ducting to make best use and shorten paths....
designers rarely test the vans in anger...
good luck.
PS....just looked at a 'sample' Senator, heater towards rear (under bed?) which is also close to rear washroom.....so lounge quite far away...
also, judging from age, it wont be the latest Truma Combi, but AFAIK you can still try MIXED mode or even gas only....as a test.

I don’t believe that Bailey Senators were ever fitted with Truma Combi systems. I could be wrong about this, but I don’t think that I am.
I think that you Caravan will be fitted with a Truma ultra heat fire 3kW gas 2kW electric. You control the gas by the circular knob on top of the fire housing.
The blown air portion will be a Truma ultravent system. This has a Y piece that sends the hot air in 2 directions. This includes a damper which you can adjust to force more air in one direction. I would suggest a previous owner has adjusted it to make the washroom warmer. As the room heater will heat the living space. As others have suggested make sure the ducting hasn’t been crushed or come adrift. I don’t know specifically but sometimes the ducting is run uninsulated on the outside of the van. This contributes to global warming but doesn’t help the local warming of your caravan.
Finally to complete the setup your hot water system will, if I am correct, a seperate Truma ultrastore system.

An annoying thing about these units is that while the instruction booklet has a well drawn picture or photograph showing where the cut out button, internal fuse... are, the actual heater with these buttons is installed, at least on mine, facing the outer caravan wall. So you have to work upside down with a few inches between it and the wall.
