Domaine du Logis, Brittany
We're thinking of going to Domaine du Logis next June.
The site gets good recommendations but as we've never been to the Brittany area of France before just wondering if anyone can recommend the site or suggest any attractions in the area?
We plan to use the Portsmouth - St Malo crossing both ways.

You are right - the site certainly gets good recommendations - though it would be even better if it were nearer the coast. Dinan is the main inland attraction - and a lovely town - but you will want to see all sorts of places along the coast from Cancale right along to Erquy, and you are going to have a 50 to 75 mile return trip every day to get there and back.
Our own favourites along that coast are Pleherel Plage on the wild shore on the way out to Cap Frehel, the headland at St Jacut de la Mer and the low tide paddle out to the little island, and the weekly market in the square at Pleneuf. A lovely coast where we were staying again last spring.
So in short I think you have picked a top quality five star site but not in the very best position.

We have been going to Brittany for over 30 years and only once have we bothered with the coastal areas. So, it's horses for courses.
Domaine du Logis is our favourite site, having been to it many times over the years, both with caravans and motorhomes. It has very good and clean facilities, a lovely swimming pool and a delightful restaurant and bar, but never seems overcrowded.
It's an easy drive to St Malo, Dinan, Mont St Michel and Combourg is a lovely little town about 10kms away. It's an 10 minute walk to La Chappelle aux Filtzmeens which has a magic patisserie and a small Tabac where you can drink with the locals. If you really need a bigger city fix, Rennes is only 35 minutes by car. If you want to go further afield, there is an SNCF station in Combourg.
You can tell I'm a fan and I'm sure you wouldn't regret staying there. You might even see me in June!

Stayed at Domaine du Logis in July for 3 nights and I completely agree with Wex. It's a mature site with good size pitches and plenty of things to do on site, including a covered Petanque area.
We had a very good meal in the restaurant and also greatly enjoyed the bar. We didn't need the children's play areas but have recommended the site to our caravanning offspring as very suitable for families.
St Malo was an easy drive and well worth a visit. Combourg was pleasant and we would also recommend Dol de Bretagne.
The only drawback this year was that the weather wasn't great but that's the luck of the draw!
We'll certainly go back.

I stayed there 3 years ago and would rate the site first class. We were given a pitch on a newly made extension. This was spacious but a little unshaded. However the toilets and showers were some of the best I have seen and the social complex was very welcoming especially around the bar, restaurant and swimming pool area. I would certainly visit again.
I would also agree with what ET has said in as much as if you favour coastal sites then this site is inland
