I traded in our Charisma 550 for a 2015 Sprite Major 4SB last week (4th/10) and returned it back to the dealer on 11th. On 6th we found that the offside front cushions were soaking wet. It took 3 days to dry them out with the central heating on from morning to bedtime. I put them back on Sunday and started to put our possessions in the van thinking we could try the van out next week. After heavy continuous rain on Tuesday /Wednesday am, I went out to continue loading the caravan to discover a puddle of water on top of the front centre chest and the offside cushions saturated right through to the slats which were also wet. Very disappointed as the dealer took 500 quid off the Charisma as it had too high a moisture reading which he was going to dispose of it to trade. It seems to me that he does not practice what he preaches, and so much so that I have emailled Swift about the remaining warranty conditions  which he said would be transferred.          We certainly will not be trying the caravan next week, and depending on Swift's response depends my next action

We had a "problem" with a dealer when exchanged one of our many c/vans,telling us he was reducing the px as we had "damp",so i asked him to go over the new van we were buying and the readings were higher than our old van, because a lot of "high damp" readings are condensation when they are not used,,

does not help with your water ingress, but i think in your situation i would reject the Swift

And do it now. Don't wait for Swift as your contract is with the dealer you bought from. To delay will weaken your case for rejection.

When we took delivery of our 2017 Sprite Major 4 EB, there was a few problems. Yes the contract was with the dealer who have been fantastic.

But in our opinion the faults were down to build quality by Swift. Emails and phone calls to Swift by ourselves concluded in all problems sorted, a few freebies and 2 free services.

My advice, Talk to Swift, be professional in your approach. I have nothing but praise for the way they handled our situation.
