Doggy showers

Are there any CC sites that have an outdoor facility for hosing down the dog?  It would need to have a mixer tap.  Our dog wouldn't like
just cold water, but would find a lukewarm shower just the ticket.

There's now a doggy shower at Castleton after the site re-furb ..... I didn't look, but would think it was just cold water.

Maybe the thread has been reserected by the "marketing dept" to "prove" that the club "listen" as several sites have had them installed since DSB first started the threadundecidedcool

Although I do not think they have a hot tapwink

    Clumber park has one

we have an 'outside' shower fitted to our van (its inside the garage, with a longish hose) which, i guess, might do the job for some MH (and dog) owners.

we have a MH, but no dogwink

i suppose i could wash the bike down?.....undecided

they can be easily fitted, Husky...assuming it would fit in any handy external locker, just find the nearest hot/cold pipes and take a T-off of each to feed a mixer unit.

definitely doesnt need to be expensive, just fit an isolation switch to be on the same side when not in use...

then your dog shower goes wherever your dog (and you) gosmile

could also fit in a caravan but the limitation might be the lack of on board water (thinking aquaroll running out....)

I think our 60ltrs of water would rinse our dog off we do our boots with our outside shower also cycles in the pastsmile then just top the water barrel up as needed without having to move off pitchwink

You can get a water inlet from the aquaroll that incorporates a shower. Cold only in that case

Or you can get an external connector for a plumbed system for warm water. Bullfinch rings a bell

In our old caravan you could pass the shower head out of the window.

Before we had an outside shower fitted we could get the shower hose out through the window if we joined two shower hoses togetherwink

Clumber park has a combined cycle/dog wash but would imagine its only cold water?

smile  Wow! Where has this thread suddenly appeared from?  It must be one of the oldest, if not the oldest remaining thread on CT.

You will notice the date 10/01/2012, before CT went live almost a couple of months later.  A few of us - the proposed 'Champions', met at East Grinstead to try out CT for the first time before it went live.  I know David Klyne, Rowena and myself we're present as well as others.  This was one of the 'test threads' I started at that gathering... smile
