Getting  closer  and  closer  now,  so  I'm  wondering  if  anybody  is  planning  on  visiting  the  Holiday / caravan / motorhome  show  at  the  NEC   this  year  ??

"Club  Day"  is  I  believe  Tuesday  October  17th.  I  hope  to  be  there  then,  'cos  I  need  a  fresh  supply  of  a  certain  cheese  ( Not  to  advertise  of  course  innocent  but it's  named  after  some  Welsh  hill  I  believe  )

If  you  are  going  --  what  are  you  looking  for / at  ??

A B M  Brian

Thursday, looking a motorhomes and trying to decide if it should or shouldn’t be our next move.

Low line rear island beds to be precise.

Will also take a look at the Buccaneer Barracuda, which may or may not sway the decision to switch.

Off there on the Tuesday, club day, only £6.50 each with voucher in this months magazine, see it does have some use. Not looking for anything specific (probably dangerous) nice to see what's new, latest trends etc. Will admire extremely expensive motorhomes and fantasise. Then return home tired and with bags of brochures which will probably go straight in the recycling bin.

If I go, the primary aim will be to keep in touch with what is available in the campervan market. One day I am going to have to downsize, hopefully not just yet.

Planning for the Thursday to look at bits and bobs for the MH. Electric bikes and a 12v TV are on the pondering list.

CY, before you go, have a look in 50 Cycles, at Shoreham (nr you, i think) to have a look at ebikes....its all they sell.....youll get a good idea about what you can (or cant) get for your money...

at least youll have an idea what top selling brands like Kalkhoff offer. they let us test drive their two demos for an hour.....seriously impressed, on the list for replacement time.

of course, requirements (distance to be used etc) vary as does budget.

unless you need/want folders with small wheels for smaller storage, i wouldnt send anyone to the Motorhome Showto buy an ebike, no more than id recommend my local bike shop for your next MHwink

if my budget was (say) half what i spent on mine, id go for a one year old Kalkhoff.....the step-through versions are as good as the crossbar ones, and the battery range now is amazing.

    Nigel,  CY  et  al,

Please  remember  my  old  dictum  on  The  N E C  --

Unless  you  have  much  more  Self  Control  than  many  visitors  Then  Leave  all  Cards,  cheque  books  etc  etc  at  Home  You  can  always  go  on  another  day,  or  wait  'til  February   !!

    winklaughing

What am I looking for specifically?...... Just the cheese!  But who knows what else is on offer.
