Anyone intending to stay at this site in Delft should be aware there are fewer pitches because of 'reseeding'. We could only stop for 2 nights  on the same pitch before being given another pitch elsewhere because landscape contractors were to start work. You might  be offered a place in the outside area that was like an aire which we did not fancy with a 7.3 metre caravan.  So much rain here many pitches are soft and a bit muddy.

Hi, Poshman. We were at Delftse Hout all last week, we left Saturday afternoon for the ferry back to Hull.

Wet! Very, very wet. Torrential rain, thankfully mostly during the night. We had one of the serviced hard standing pitches, but it still got very muddy.

The staff were working on the grass pitches as soon as they were vacated, but, as you say, they needed a rest and some care and attention. I wouldn't have liked to arrive and been allocated one!

We enjoyed the campsite and the area, just a shame about the weather.
