Formula 1 ???

Obviously some races are more exciting than others. I expect Grand Prix enthusiasts rarely watch in an impartial way so it will depend on what happens to their team whether a race is exciting or not?
The Singapore GP was at least exciting for the first 3 minutes!!! Shame for poor Max but the Red ones got it badly wrong. Has Vettel gifted the championship to Hamilton?

Not for me, I don't find motorbikes very interesting at all. The beauty of F1 is the skill of the driver and the cutting edge technology. Each to his own.

Used to love motor sports, participated in rallying in my younger days, enjoyed many of the formula racing but never really got into F1. Monaco was the worst of the lot and probably still is for many. It was all about prerace days and reliability during the final day. All about manufacturers, pit crews and then possibly the drivers, couldn't really decide which was the more important aspect, all I know iis that it was/is slightly better than the American roundy, roundy races.
Today, of all the MSs probably speedway would grab me most!

The trouble is these days David is that too much is about pit stops and controlling the engine mapping through laptops in the pits with engines being 'slowed down' to save their lives rather than to give spectators proper racing. At least in motoGP there are no pit stops and little interference from the pit crew and much more difficult to predict a winner.

Vettel did well to claw his way up through the field, just missing on a podium as his tyres went away in the last few laps.

Max did do well today and thank goodness his car was reliable. I think Red Bull have probably got the two best drivers in F1 at the moment. I am biased of course!!!

Used to watch all the races a few years ago, then started to record them and only bothered to watch if Hamilton crashed out but now don't even do that.
Too much reliance on technical control from the pit lane and not enough driver skill or flair for me - ballast indeed trellis. 😉0
