One night stopovers between Bilbao-Barcelona

Hi

We are touring Spain/France with a twin axle and 3 kids would like to know of any sites that allow a one night stopover between Bilbao-Barcelona as the time we get off the ferry is too late in the day to make the check in before closing on our main site.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as this is our first trip to Spain as we usually only go to France.
