Spain in October

Can anyone recommend touring sites on the Spanish coast (Eastern) ? We are thinking of touring with the motorhome in late October/early November. Will the weather still be reasonable? What are the pitfalls at that time of year?

Thanks.

There's a lot more to the East coast of Spain than the Costa Brava. There are many sites open all year and nearly all are good sites, depending on what you personally want. The weather is normally great at this time of year. Why not start by looking at this club's web site, then the other clubs web site, then ukcaravans.co.uk then Google. ACSI has another good web site.

Come October you really need to be south of Barcelona to get warm days and evenings. Valencia and south to Murcia will give you hot days and warm evenings. Plenty of sites open as the snow birds will be setting up for the winter,  some of the most popular site's will have some space while others you may be limited to how many days you can stay on one pitch and then move to another as they reserve pitches by number years in advance. Don't let this put you off though as October is a great month to tour. Have fun.

Not sure about the train BB but i do know you can get the bus into Barcelona from right outside  the site, takes about 40 mins.

On your recommendation we stayed at this site for a few nights and agree the showers are a lovely suprise as is Sitges itself.
