Uncontrolled dogs.

Once you get past the stud farm bit, on the way out, there is a longish bit of road with just some houses, So it is a fair distance to get back to the main road.
However, one of the other roads off the roundabout is actually closer to the site, so there is a little road noise if the wind is in the wrong direction, but fairly minor.
Not a site I would want to walk from as the roads are quite busy once you get to the roundabout.
Good parking at P+R, and great shopping nearby.

"And yip have walked pooch for a mile or so and it poos as soon as you get back on site - sorry but until I can control nature."
You can take a dog to the dog walk but you can't always make it poo.
My dog is a small cute one which is a magnet for children. I always say - don't touch her she might nip you. (She has not done so in all her 8 years) Small children running towards a dog is not a good idea. Please parents teach your children that not all dogs are friendly, especially small ones who are frightened by running children

We ARE a dog owner and agree. Some folk seem to think 'coz their dog doesn't wander its ok not to tie it up. Our dog is always tied to his dog-screw as per rules. But the others get all dog-owner's bad names. Shame on you. See my post about thoughtless dog owners.

Oh regarding Beechwood, stayed there, annoyingly some dog-owners walked around site with their dogs on long leads and let them wander onto pitches to do their "duties"! I don't want a dog weeing up my awning/car/anything thank you. There is a great dog-walk on-site. You just can't walk your dog down the access lane. Probably to do with the owners and the stud farm.
