pick up insurance
Hi
My wife and i are wanting to tour europe for a year towing a new baileys verona caravan with my isuzu d max pick up truck but are finding it difficult to get insurance for any length of time for the truck.
Any suggestions would greatly appreciated, everywhere i turn aviva, more than, seems to be restrictions on the amount of time you can have in europe?

A lot of insurance companies allow you to extend the European cover for an additional fee.
As you've posted in Club Products and Services, I assume you've tried the club's insurance.

Yes, I would have thought Saga too, but as well as them I have heard other people speak of Lifesure, Safeguard, and NFU Mutual as possibilities - the first two of those might quote on line for you, the latter would probably mean a visit to one of their local offices. I have no personal dealings with them, but they may be ideas for you to follow up.
