My Auntie and Uncle have just bought a folding camper and they are thinking about joining the CC club. Do all sites allow folding campers on them ?

As far as I am aware, all CAMC owned/operated sites allow them. They have to be trailer mounted units, as the Pennine is. Affiliated sites and CLs may have different rulings.

There do tend to be more of them on C&CC sites where they're not looked upon as oddities and are made very welcome.

I can't recall seeing a folding camper on a Club site and I agree with Tinny.  When I restarted caravanning my budget outfit clearly didn't impress some members which created an icy atmosphere most of the time!  My caravan is much used now and I am almost waiting for the snobbery to start again!  I hope they have a great time with their hobby.

I have certainly seen trailer tents on CC pitches. Had one myself and also used CC sites amongst others. Certainly never felt a second class citizen Pippah.  I like seeing them on site.

Stayed at 2 x club sites this year, Rookesbury Park think there were at least 4 there and Morvich there were up to 3.  Despite the uncertain weather folk seems to be enjoying their trips.

PS lots of Dutch and French trailer tents on the roads in West Scotland
