We stopped here when we went to Maastricht and Valkenburg it was an ACSI Camping Card Site and good in 2011.

we had no problems with access here with large Twin axle.

We've been a couple of times on our visits to Christmas markets.  The site is well maintained and the facilities are clean and nice and warm.  It was expensive.  It is convenient for Valkenberg, Maastricht or Aachen by bus and train.  Valkenberg is very hilly, the site being off one of the hills they use in the Amstel Gold cycle race and recent World championships.  If you approach the site from the centre of town there is an extremely sharp, almost 180 degree turn into the quite steep drive.  However, if you drive on a further 100m there is a road on the right which can be used with a motorhome or caravan to turn around to come down the hill and turn right up the drive.  If you can't turn here ( there was once a number of cars parked in such a way as to stop us doing so) you can continue up the hill for 1 - 2 km to a roundabout and turn there.  Limburg is a beautiful area to visit.  Hope this helps.

Stayed there a few years ago for the Xmas markets.  Didn't book, just turned up and we were charged an "admin fee" for just turning up, and not having booked!  Never before or since have I encountered that anywhere in over 40 years of camping/caravanning/motorhoming.  I'm Dutch, so I speak the language, and no, there was no mistake, that's how it worked.  Of course, I don't know whether it's still the case.  It was only a couple of Euros, but I just couldn't believe it at the time.

Access is as described above; it's better to carry on to the roundabout and do a u-turn there if coming from the direction of Valkenburg itself.

Good views from the site, and walking distance from the town.

Just how do you make a 180 deg. turn?
