which tow car?

ok, so we bought a caravan ( on a bit of a whim) its weight fully laden is 1500kg kg. The problem is i dont have B+e on my license! i have 2000kg to play with....is there such a car that we could get? or will i definitely need to have some lessons? I am a bus driver, so am used to driving long and heavy vehicles - i appreciate your advice, many thanks in advance, russ

    Hi Russ, 

    I have had a look on the Club's car database and the cars that have enough kerb weight (1765kg) the GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) are all above the 2000kg allowance on your licence. Unfortunately a B+E licence is required to tow this caravan with a suitable vehicle.

    Its ok ive just looked it up on my license cheers got in a panic there wondering how a bus driver cant tow a caravan cheers mrs bc :)
