Best Currency for Croatia

Looking forward to our first trip to Croatia next month and wondered which is the best way to get currency. It appears euros are quite widely accepted and our Caxton FX Card will be fine for them, but I am not sure if it is best to get Kunas here in UK or take Sterling and change it in Croatia?

Other peoples experiences / advice would be welcomed!

Just pop your no fee credit or debit bank card into an ATM when you get there and local currency  will come out - just as it does in every country in the world.
