Beer-strange names!
When I was young beer had names like Brew Ten and Red Barrel! Today there really are some very strange names out there. Presently I'm drinking one called Old Codger, what odd beer names have you noticed. Are any any good?

Definitely a "Personal Taste" really, I must recommend a trot round your local s/markets & any other retail outfits to gather a good x-section to sample at your next Barbie !! Then make a list to stick on the fridge door ( assuming you can remember your favourites )

There used to be a "Type 45" down this part of the world which, for the uninitiated, is a class of naval frigate.

Think you will find the Type 45 is a destroyer, Cy - as in HMS Daring. (I served in Diamond (D34) for a short while - last of the post-war Daring class)

The best beer I have ever tasted, I found in "The Rose & Crown" at Trent Nr Yeovil Somerset. It was Wadworths "Swordfish" Apparently a special to Celebrate 100 years of Naval Aviation, - The name Swordfish commemorating the WW2 Biplane not the fish.
The beer itself was based on Wadworths 6X with a Rum infusion! Lovely!!!
