Truma Ultrastore Water Heater failure

I am currently on a CL site no electric. Been using gas to heat my water, all fine until this morning. The red failure light keeps coming on - tank is full, no airlock and gas works OK everywhere else.

Am in a panic as I can't take it in anywhere as I am full time now in caravan for next year.

Do people come out and repair? Anybody any ideas as to what might be wrong? I have a Abbey Freestyle 470 SE 2001.

Just north of Worthing, West Sussex. Thanks for getting back so quickly. Was thinking - should I drain it and refill it maybe something needs to be reset?

Try S&G Caravan Services on 07842451805.  They are based in Lancing and are an 'Approved Mobile Workshop'.

Thanks for that, have just called and left a message on their mobile. BTW did the drain and refill and nothing - I could hear it do a few fast clicks and then a deeper sounding click which was the failure light coming on. Grrr! Cold showers and me do not mix!!

Is your battery in good condition?  The battery is needed for the gas ignition, so if the voltage is too low the ignition may fail.
