The gas/power consumption will depend directly on (1) the internal temperature set by the thermostat (2) the outside temperature changes during the period (3) how often the door is opened and for how long (4) the temperature and mass of new items introduced to the interior (5) the air movement past/through the ventilation grills (6) the age/efficiency of the particular unit.

So it might be easier to work out the length of two pieces of elastic!

If I ran the fridge on gas with a little cooking then for our 120 days away a year I might consider!

How did my OP turn into a discussion on Camping Gaz - the most expensive of them all?  Safefill everytime for me!

These conversations wander about all over the place Pippah. Not a bad thing as long as it returns to the OP. Gave up Gaz years ago!

I agree Pippah, there's no right way or wrong way - just expensive and cheaper. Talking about small amounts of gas, I hear that Safefill have stopped doing the 5kg size as it didn't sell well? I find mine very useful.
