can anyone recommend a site near the port just for one night stopover in March next year?

    You can stay overnight at the port. No electric of coarse but there is water. We've stayed there on outward and return trips. It is mentioned on BF web site.

    There is a very good site in the ACSI book at Zarautz, , near SanSebastian. It is 60 miles from Bilbao and would take about 90 minutes. Of course it depends on the timing of your sailing but it is no problem for the afternoon boats.
