Mr Microsoft has given you a freebie hidden (some may say) with Win10.

it seems that Win10 installation contains Crush.Candy. And Minecraft wether you want it or not.

It also seems that you cannot easily get rid of it.

So if your hard or solid state disc is filling up, you know where the blame lies.

Happy Crushing

Had a lot of updates recently so took a look but can’t see anything by those names on my laptop.   I do keep getting a message saying Windows 10 Creator Update is on the way though.

Win7 has also been very busy with updates over the last few days. One update even resulted in a 'start-up error', though it did eventually recover after about a 20 minute recovery process.  It was then promptly followed by another long-winded update (which proceeded normally).

It will only happen if you activate them, if you don't want these games don't click on them. As David says not microsoft, just digital games companies operating on different platforms.

I cannot find the size of the Windows App storage because it seems to be protected and undeletable, however I have found that there are over 14000 (14000) files allocated to candy crush and Minecraft that are sitting on my solid state disc,

i would like the space back, for something I can install !

Try a search for "candy" on your system drive, probably drive C.
