Site Recommendation Please

Hi.  We are heading down to france to stay near Sarlat (Dordogne) in August.  We have our main pitch booked but would like a recommendation for a stop over for a few nights on the way down.  We have a large motorhome (9 m long.)  We would like somewhere with a pool if possible.

    I don't know your proposed route, but if you are using a western channel route to Caen, Cherbourg or St Malo then the city site at Nantes is popular with motorhomers because of the indoor pool and easy public transport into the city. But a nine metre vehicle will certainly need a special advance enquiry there and will stretch many French sites. Good luck with it it.

    We used Les Pupliers near Poitiers on the way down from Le Havre, just off the N10 very easy to get too and a lovely site too.

    Very hard  to advise without knowing your planned route- are you crossing via Calais or Roscoff?
