Not sure how many others are affected by peak prices during the school holidays. We are 2 adults who have no problem with being on a site with children , but feel it very unfair we dont get a discount during peak times being just the 2 of us , when you can take up to 3 children for the same price.Yes its great for a family of 5 and iam not asking for any change in that but maybe half price for 1 adult when there is just 2 of you.

I think you've misunderstood the club's pricing structure haven't you, G? You pay a pitch fee plus a per person fee, unlike many non-club sites with their "up to 6 people per pitch" deal. So from that point of view the club actually gives you a better deal. smile

yes, there is always a charge for children even when it's a 'kids for a pound' site. (that's a pound for each child per night) You are talking about club sites here?

Not half as expensive as a certain "holiday camp" we were walking past this morning! wink

Likewise we dont do club sites during peak pricing. Better options elsewhere.

If  I  need / want  to  be  in  a  particular  area  I'm  not  going  to  fret  about  a  few  quid  as  long  as  I  can  enjoy  what  I'm  going  to  be  doing.

Same here. We know we are getting what we want with club sites so use them whatever the time of year. Almost all sites cost more at peak times so you pay more whatever you choose.

As a Teacher all of my main trips are obviously at peak times ....just put up with it, I choose CC sites always so have to be prepared to pay for it.
