A Little Gem Of A Site In France

I discovered this little site quite by chance and I'm spending the next few weeks here.  It is Camping Panoramic in Payrac in the Lot region of France.

It is not an all singing and dancing site.  It does not have a swimming pool, but it is quiet and peaceful.  Plenty of shade for those who want it and full sunshine if you don't.  The facilities are not up to Caravan Club standard but are spotlessly clean and more than adequate.  Lashings of hot water for washing up and showers.  The toilets have seats and toilet paper is supplied.

There is a small restaurant and bar as well as a small games room.  The Dutch owners are lovely and very helpful.  Nothing is too much.  They are also animal friendly.  I'm staying here with my two Cocker Spaniels and paid the princely sum of €12.50 per night.  This includes electric and wifi.  I had an excellent meal at the restaurant which has just opened for the season.

The address of the site is Camping Panoramic, 46350 Payrac, Midi Pyrenees.

And it's a site which is open all year, and not that far from the A20 for those headng that way.

There are lots of these hidden gems!

I would suggest as good as Caravan Site, and for 12.50euros.

    BETTER.....
